Nick's new emails are already earning. Next: this week's offers, a weekly note and the guidebook pop-ups
Nearly every email series Nick and his team built in early October is live and bringing in money: welcome, abandoned cart, getting started, refills, upgrades and second-product emails.
Cash
About $12,700 in our bank in the next 2 weeks, and $28,500 to $54,700 in cash and sales by 31 December
The $12,700 is cash after card fees. The 31 December range adds sales from later emails, Claude's best guesses from Klaviyo's numbers on Sunday 18 October.
This week's emails: cash expected in the bank after card fees (Claude's email session's estimate). Not money in hand.
All are decided, including a new offer for 75 customers whose 12-month BROQ plan ran out.
Today's 20 emails went out at 10am, in each reader's own time: See the emails (opens in a new tab)
All from this week's emails, mostly 12 more months of BROQ and the BROQ renewals
About $5,700 of it is orders this week, to Sun 25 Oct (likely $2,400 to $10,600)
This week's emails, to Tue 17 Nov: about $13,100 (the front page's $13,400 adds two warm-up emails, counted here in the weekly note)
Weekly note and second-product emails, to Sat 14 Nov: $2,400 (solid) to $12,200 (with the striped part)
This week's emails and the second BROQ renewal email: about $14,800 of new cash by 31 Dec.
That's the front page's $15,200 of new cash, less about $340 from two warm-up emails, counted here in the weekly note.
Weekly note, second-product, Nick's note and Black Friday emails, to mid-December: $13,700 (solid) to $39,900 (with the striped part)
Likely ranges for this week's emails alone: $5,800 to $25,400 by Tue 3 Nov, $6,200 to $26,600 by Tue 17 Nov, $7,100 to $29,400 by 31 Dec.
The ranges are wide because we haven't yet sent from our new address, opus.life, at full volume.
Not counted here: the guidebook pop-ups and the refill and win-back emails, which earn by the month.
The emails
What's ready, one by one
This week: 12 more months of BROQ for the price of 6
About $1,900 in the bank by Tuesday 27 October, after card fees (Claude's email session's estimate), from orders this week.
Plus about $750 by Tuesday 3 November from 74 more customers less than a year into a 24-month plan, Wed 28 Oct to Sun 1 Nov.
For the 47 customers about a year into a 24-month BROQ plan: 12 more months for $456 instead of $912, plus a free NMN-99 and SPMD-99.
That now includes 4 told in June that $44.33 a pack was our lowest price ever. The 5 who can't get our email hear from Nick's own Gmail.
Emails Wednesday 21, Friday 23 and Sunday 25 October, and a final one at 5pm Sunday, their time.
Nick's team set up the $456 checkout and loaded each customer's price and link on Tue 20 Oct.
Why that much: 1 in 15 of the 47 saying yes, at about $524 an order, less card fees.
Why 1 in 15: September's similar $456 offer went to 39 customers with about 9 months of BROQ left. 4 ordered in 2 days, about 1 in 10.
These 47 have about 12 months left, and people with a year or more left buy less often. So Claude's email session counts a little lower.
The 5pm email adds about $300: about 0.6 of an order at June's last-day rate, so in practice $0 or about $500.
40 pay $456; the 7 who get two packs a month pay $912. Likely range: $800 to $3,500, the high end with one order from the 5pm email. That forecast was made Tue 20 Oct, before the first email. Day one, Wed 21 Oct, already brought 4 yeses and $1,824 (Shopify orders; about $1,770 after card fees), nearly all of the $1,900.
The 74 more: 1 in 40 of the 62 on our group emails say yes, since people with more than a year left buy less often. Likely $600 to $3,000.

Decided Tue 20 Oct, 3:54pm Pacific: emails go out Wednesday 21, Friday 23 and Sunday 25 October.
This week: Annual renewals with an extra $100 off
About $3,000 in the bank by Tuesday 3 November (likely $1,600 to $4,900), after card fees, and about $4,500 by 31 December with a second BROQ renewal email.
About $1,200 of it is orders by Sunday 25 October, in the bank by about Tuesday 27 October.
For the 25 customers whose 12-month BROQ plans are running out, or just ran out.
An extra $100 off the $712 annual plan price, with a code: $612, which is $300 below the $912 full price. Plus a free month of SPMD-99.
The 9 who paid $562.80 last year get an extra $150 off: $562, which is $350 below $912 and still below last year's price.
Emails Thursday 22 October (Monday 26 October for 3 who also hold a 24-month plan), with a last-day reminder Wednesday 28 October. The extra $100 ends that day, 11:59pm Pacific.
Nick's team makes the BROQ renewal codes and loads each customer's price and code by 7am Thursday 22 October.
It also moves the BROQ renewal button to the $512 offer's checkout, so a renewal adds 12 months to the current plan instead of starting a second one.
Why that much: last year, 3 in 10 whose prepaid plans ended started a new plan. Claude's email session counts 5 of the 25 renewing by Wednesday 28 October.

Offer decided Tue 20 Oct, 3:54pm Pacific. Its email went out at 10am today.
New this week: 12 more months of BROQ for $512, for annual plans that end after 2026
About $2,300 in the bank by Tuesday 3 November (likely $1,100 to $4,600), after card fees. About $900 of it is orders by Sunday 25 October.
For 60 BROQ annual customers whose plans end after 31 December 2026. 58 are on the $512 emails, and 51 of those can get email.
They include 18 told in June that $44.33 a pack was our lowest price ever; it was decided on Tue 20 Oct, 1:19pm, to include them, at $42.67 a pack.
The 2 on two packs a month get their own copy at $1,023 for 12 more months. Left out: 4 already in this week's other offers.
12 more months for $512: an extra $200 off the $712 annual plan price, $400 below the $912 full price.
Emails Thursday 22 October, with a last-day email Tuesday 27 October, when the extra $200 ends. It's all in the bank by Friday 30 October.
Nick's team sets up the checkout product, the code EXTEND200 and each customer's plan dates by 7am Thursday 22 October.
Why that much: Claude's email session expects 1 in 12 of the 52 to say yes, about 4 orders.
September's similar offer (12 more months of BROQ for $456) went to 39 customers and got 4 orders in 2 days, about 1 in 10. This one is $512.

Offer decided Tue 20 Oct, 3:54pm Pacific. Its email went out at 10am today.
New this week: an extra $150 off a new 12-month BROQ plan, for 75 customers whose prepaid plan ran out
About $1,500 in the bank by Tuesday 3 November, after card fees, if 2 or 3 of the 75 buy (low $0, high about $2,700).
About $590 of it is orders by Sunday 25 October.
A new 12-month plan for $562, $150 off the $712 annual plan price, plus a free pack of SPMD-99. Open Thursday 22 to Wednesday 28 October.
Up to 3 emails from Nick: Thursday 22, Monday 26 and Wednesday 28 October.
Why that much: 2 or 3 buyers at about $650 each after card fees, since some households get 2 to 4 packs a month.
That's Claude's email session's estimate, from our past emails to lapsed customers.
Decided: you and Nick OK'd the offer and its emails, which went out at 10am today.
New next week: a $250 Opus gift card for $200
About $1,200 in the bank by Tuesday 3 November (likely $700 to $1,900), after card fees. Nothing this week.
For 363 customers who open or click our emails. It can be spent on anything at opus.life right away, BROQ included.
BROQ otherwise gets no pay-ahead discount before 31 Dec; this offer is the exception.
Email Wednesday 28 October, with a last-day reminder Sunday 1 November. Nick's team makes the gift card and its $50 off by noon Monday 26 October.
Why that much: about 6 buyers at $200 each, Claude's email session's guess, since we've never sold gift cards.
About $700 of the cards gets spent on November and December orders instead of cash.

Decided Tue 20 Oct, 3:54pm Pacific: it goes out Wednesday 28 October.
New this week: pay for 12 months, get 14, for Founding Members who got SPMD-99 and NMN-99 free
About $980 in the bank by Tuesday 3 November (likely $490 to $2,850), after card fees. About $290 of it is SPMD-99 orders by Sunday 25 October.
Two notes from Nick: a 12-month plan at today's price ($412 for SPMD-99, $590 for NMN-99), plus 2 more months FREE.
For 36 Founding Members (June's 24-month BROQ buyers) who got both free on 4 September and don't subscribe to NMN-99. 34 of them get the SPMD-99 note too.
SPMD-99 note Thursday 22 October, NMN-99 note Monday 26 October, both open until Sunday 1 November. Nick's team adds the 2 free months after each order.
Why that much: 1 in 35 saying yes, about 2 orders, paid in full at checkout. That's Claude's email committee's guess.
Its guess for a $100-off version of the same plan was 1 in 25. The 2 free months are worth about as much, but buyers pay $100 more up front.

Offer decided Tue 20 Oct, 3:54pm Pacific. Its SPMD-99 note goes today.
Not this time: first month of BROQ free, for 7 customers abroad
Skipped (decided Tue 20 Oct, 9:10am).
A weekly note to customers who open and click
About $2,100 to $10,600 in sales by mid-November, then more each month.
Nick sends the first on Monday 19 October: a short note with no sale, to about 630 recent buyers. It helps Gmail and Yahoo trust opus.life before Black Friday.
Our email campaigns brought in about $17,000 a month over the last year, and no big one has gone out since 24 September.
Why that much: about 14,000 emails by 15 November (five warm-up sends, then one a week, to a growing list) at 15 to 75 cents each, just under September's rate.
Plus up to $420 from a late-October letter with no sale.
OK'd on 16 October
Second-product emails to past customers we've held back since September
About $250 to $1,200 in sales by mid-November; $1,000 to $4,800 over three months.
The emails offering a second product to people who own one are live. About 7,800 past customers (people, not dollars) wait until inboxes trust our new address.
They'd come in batches: one-time buyers from Monday 2 November, everyone else 3 to 10 December, skipping Black Friday week.
Why that much: about 2,000 have never been offered a second product. Two emails each, at 25 cents to $1.20 an email, is $1,000 to $4,800.
Black Friday sale emails, 24 November to 1 December
About $9,200 to $18,400 in sales by mid-December.
To about 2,250 people who clicked our emails or signed up in the last 180 days. They're part of the Black Friday and Green Monday bundle sale.
Why that much: $4.08 to $8.16 a person, what our past sale emails earned, a little lower for the new address.
Nick's note inviting 9 BROQ customers on 12-month plans to move up to 24 months
$456 to $912 in sales, one time, paid up front.
It goes out in Black Friday week (24 November to 1 December), alongside our Black Friday offers.
Why that much: we expect 1 or 2 of the 9 to say yes, at $456 each for 12 more months (the regular price is $912).
The guidebook pop-ups: more people on our email list
About $100 to $2,300 a month in welcome-email sales.
Only about 46 of our 46,000 site visitors a month join our list, 1 in 1,000, because our Meta ads send most people to pages with no sign-up box.
The two new pop-ups offer our free guidebook on the ad pages, and 15% off plus the guidebook everywhere else.
They go live the day you and Nick approve the guidebook.
Why that much: each new sign-up brings about $5 of welcome-email sales, Claude's cautious figure from Klaviyo's numbers.
Low end: about 19 more sign-ups a month, $100. High end: 1 in 100 of our 46,000 monthly visitors, about 460 sign-ups, $2,300.
Refill and win-back emails for customers who ordered before 4 October
About $260 to $900 a month in sales.
Both are live, but only reach people who ordered since 4 October, when we started tracking when someone runs out.
Nick's team can add run-out dates for older orders. Win-backs reach them from early November, once inboxes trust our new address.
Why that much: about 200 win-back emails a month at 84 cents to $2.66 each, $170 to $530 ($2.66 is what our old win-back earned).
Plus about 90 refill reminders at $1 to $4 each, $90 to $350.
